Half of America is using social networks

Hello guys.
We just read an article from New York Times that says a lot about the American's use of social networks. It does not surprise us that half of the Americans use social networks - we think that most people feel a need to be connected to everyone at all times.
We both use Facebook a lot (Simone: everyday, Josefine: almost every day) and we think that it is good way to keep in touch with old friends and family, but it can get too much though.

Oh all those series...

Ciao!

I am that kind of person who loves to relax a Sunday afternoon with a lot of films and series. Therefore I want to recommend you some of my favourite series if you need anything new to watch.

Criminal Minds:
A team of profilers from FBI is going to find murders and kidnappers. They have to look inside the murders’ brains to find them before it is too late! Really exciting and I really do love how the team works.

Ghost Whisperer:

The beautiful Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Melinda Gordon who can see and talk to ghosts. She helps them cross over to the other side where they can find peace and love. But there are some evil people who want to keep the ghosts on the dark side to make the dead bigger and stronger than the living. Very exciting! Melinda has good friends and a wonderful husband. Their love to each other is bigger and stronger than you can imagine and I think that every girl wants a husband like Melinda’s.

Gilmore Girls:
The mother is 32 years old and the daughter is 16 years old. Lorelai and Rory live in a small town and they are facing problems such as love, boys, work and school. Every day they eat at Luke’s diner where funny things happen. I would recommend this series for girls who need to laugh and see that the problems that we are facing every day are normal!

House:
Doctor House is a genius and he solves all the cases other doctors can’t. He works best if he can avoid meeting his patients, but he is very rude to all people! He hates everybody and because of his big pains in his leg he is addicted to strong pills which he takes a lot. He likes playing games and watch television in his working hours. If you need to laugh – laugh a lot, then watch it!

Holiday pictures - no. 2!

Hi! By now, you should all know that pink means Simone, and orange is me :) So.. 

I too would like to post my favourite holiday picture(s). 

 This first picture is taken at a small, small, very small beach - or really at the path that lead us to it. It is an island not far from the coast of Southfrance, nearby the city of St. Tropez! I'm mad about France, and so are the rest of my family. Or really we just love travelling, so I would very much like to some day see the most of the world. Especially the Caribbean! 
This vacation is this summer's, but we are renting the same house next year, cuz the owners were so nice - and british! Aw.. 
Btw, in this picture you see my sister-in-law, my mom and my brother :) 

The next picture is also from Southfrance - quelle surprise, huh? It is me and my best friend, Louise. Her family and my family sometimes meet at our vacations, then they borrow one of the rooms in the house we rented :) Comfy.. 

I believe this photo is from St. Tropez too? Or maybe Nice? Not sure of that.. But we were looking at the pretty (big) boats, that I remember! It was the summer of 2009. 

After finishing high school, I would really like to live in France for some months, maybe six even.. My family has got some friends down there, and so I may be able to live with them, or work with them. Or they will help me find a job and so on..

Holiday in Berlin

Hey guys. 
I just wanted to show you my favourite pictures from a holiday in Berlin. It is not a secret that I really do love Germany, the German language and the history. I think that it is exciting to hear about the Berlin Wall and how it was living in Germany and Berlin at that time! Therefore I think that it was very exciting visiting Berlin and seeing all the attractions. I have two favourite pictures from one of my trips to Berlin, which I want to show you! 

The first picture is me in front of the Berlin Wall and the second picture is me in front of Brandenburger Tor! I really do love Berlin and I hope that I can work and live there half a year when I have finished school!

Hey people!
Our first post was a little short, but now we want to present our selves. We are two girls from Odense, Denmark:

Hello guys! I hope you are enjoying this sunny day. I am Simone and I am 17 years old, but I turn 18 in November! I cannot wait. I really love my family and friends, but I also love colours! I am very happy, but sometimes I am sad. I think that piercings and tattoos are nice and I would like some myself. I like animal patterns, so much that even my phone looks like a leopard and my bedclothes looks like a zebra!! I listen a lot to music and I write a lot with my friends. Lovely people. Nice nice. Well, I hope that you guys will follow our blog and you will like it!

Now to the interesting part! I'm number 2, Josefine. Unlike Simone I don't like animal patterns, and I don't have a cell phone that looks like a leopard. But I very much like her, and this blog will probably be about us - our lives together. We're a couple :i No.... 
Well.. I like doing photography, but I still have got nothing more than a regular digital camera. Besides my polaroid camera of course! That's so cool. All the pictures are going to be on my 'cool-wall' - just like in Top Gear! -- My family means the world to me, and eight - well.. almost nine - months ago I got a boyfriend. You may puke now, but I love him. Also.. I almost can't do anything without listening to music, you could call me an addict. 

Right now..... Simone and I are sharing a couple of chocolate biscuits in our English class. Serious business!

We will probably post videos or guides with the topic "How to...", and some recommendations to some of the music we like (eventhough we disagree what's good). Maybe funny videos or quotes to help you get through the day! :)
